Baltic Convoy Support for Ukraine on Independence Day

In 2025, on the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day, volunteers from the Baltic States are organizing a large-scale Baltic Convoy — a motorcade that will deliver vehicles to Ukraine for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

This mission, dedicated to the 36th anniversary of the “Baltic Way” of 1989, symbolizes the unity and solidarity of the peoples of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania in supporting Ukraine in its fight for freedom. The convoy will start on August 22 from Tallinn and arrive in Ukraine on August 24.

SAB UA announces fundraising for vehicles that will participate in the Baltic Convoy:

FREIGHTLINER FL80, 2002, 8.3L 6-cyl diesel — for the 413th Separate Battalion of Special Operations “REID”

This vehicle was donated to us by Dmytro from Florida. Considerable work was done: repairs, maintenance, interior upholstery, fixing roof leaks, air system leaks, electrical work, preparing the vehicle for driving on European roads. The result is excellent — now we only need fuel to deliver it to Ukraine.

Total fundraising goal for the Baltic Convoy: €89,012

In Riga, the convoy will be joined by the Latvian organization Biedrība “TEV”, and in Lithuania — by the team of activist Valdas Bartkevičius, who will provide up to 20 vehicles. The total convoy will include at least 30 vehicles. Passing through Poland, with events in Warsaw, the convoy will head to Ukraine, demonstrating powerful support.

Thanks to Estonian journalist Ilmar Raag (Kuri Siil project), it became possible to raise and cover the cost of 2 vehicles for the Baltic Convoy, totaling €29,865:

  • Chevrolet Silverado 4×4 (2018, 2500 Duramax 6.6L V-8 Diesel) — vehicle + repairs + cargo bed + armor + painting + tires = €20,940

  • Nissan Navara 4×4 (2016, 2.5L Diesel) — vehicle + repairs + tires = €8,925

After this contribution, the fundraising goal for the Baltic Convoy has decreased to €59,000.

The Baltic Convoy is not just humanitarian aid — it is a symbol of unwavering support for Ukraine.
